Meet the founder

Jessica Hurst

Hi! My name is Jessica Hurst. I’m a wife, homeschool mom of four, real estate agent, and the founder of Entrusted Homeschool Conference. Over the years, my husband and I have been encouraged through conferences, conversations, sermons, and trusted speakers that strengthened our walk with Christ and our calling to disciple our children.

As we began homeschooling, I kept having conversations with parents who were curious but hesitant about homeschooling. They often seemed held back by concerns about finances, a spouse not being supportive of it, or the belief that homeschooling required recreating a traditional school day at home. I wanted to help parents think through these concerns, and also come alongside seasoned homeschool parents- encouraging them and reminding them why we chose this path and how important the work of discipling our children truly is. Through these experiences, I believe the Lord placed a desire on my heart to create a place where families are encouraged, equipped, and connected.

My hope is that no matter where you are in your homeschooling journey, you will leave this conference strengthened to disciple your children well- faithfully stewarding what God has Entrusted to you!

The Entrusted Homeschool Conference is designed as a parent-focused event for moms and dads. Our hope is that parents can attend together to listen, learn, and thoughtfully process the information as a couple — connecting with each other and with other families throughout the day.
That said, we understand every family’s circumstances are different. Childcare is not always available, and some parents may feel most comfortable bringing their children. We respect and trust you to make the best decision for your family. Please note that there will not be childcare, children’s programming, or designated play areas available inside the building during the event. A limited number of children’s tickets will be available for families who choose to bring their children. If you do choose to bring your children, we kindly ask that parents help create an environment where all attendees can fully engage in the sessions. We’re so grateful you’ll be joining us and look forward to a meaningful day together!
